Choosing your perfect Pilates mat;
When laying supine with the head on the mat, both shoulders should be square on the mat with the torso and glutes and the very upper legs need to be supported by the mat. 75% of your legs should be off the mat. During a supported shoulder stand, both elbows should be placed comfortably on the mat.

Cleaning
Pilates mats are waterproof and may be cleaned using an non-abrasive sponge or cloth with hot water and soap. They may also be dis-infected with spray, solution or wipes.
Storage
Pilates mats should be stored flat, either under a bed or standing on it's long edge, behind a sofa or similar. Please avoid storing any object on the mat to avoid indentations.
